Traveling with toddlers has never been as smooth as we plan. If you are a parent of a baby, you know the struggle of bringing all necessary equipment to your holiday destination, and in case you have more than one kids the effort is doubled.
However, this doesn't always have to be the case, in fact traveling with infants can be a lot simpler than it seems to be. In our ultimate baby travel guide, we have collected the most valuable tips and tricks to make your experience effortless and relaxed.

Prior to Departure
Make a list
Make a list of everything you need for your kids during your holiday. Check our
recommended list. This list we made of our research we did on families who are traveling with their kids. Of course, every family has other priorities but all the general things you will need on your holiday are in our packing list!
Check what the accommodation already offers.
Use our checklist to tick the inventory that is already available at the accommodation.
Use a luggage service.
To get rid of the whole stress around all baby gear you need to take with you, arrange in advance a door2door service to transport your luggage to the destination. Many people forget about this until the moment they are at the airport with toys, strollers and kids crawling around. No one wants to start their family vacation with a "headache" so in order to avoid that make sure to arrange your luggage transport earlier.
Get a seat next to the aisle and close to the toilets.
If you are traveling by plane, book a seat next to the aisle and close to the toilets so can easily get up in case you need to change your baby without disturbing other people.
While on the way
Take as little as possible!
With the door2door service, you no more need to worry about all baby gear you’ve planned to take with you. Take only the essentials with you and avoid extra stress at the airports and on the plane.
Best time of day to travel.
The best time to travel will depend on the tendencies of your baby. An early morning start may work perfectly for early risers but not so well if your baby wakes up grumpy. Travelling overnight could also be perfect if they sleep right through or it may make them overtired.
4-hour rule.
Wherever you go, a short journey is of course going to be more suitable for travelling with a tot. If you are thinking abroad, sticking to Europe is a good idea as flights are often no more than 4 hours and you will find familiar brands of baby foods.
